Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Waverly in Nebraska is seeking Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification for 40 hours is required.
• Current CNA certification in NE is required.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and safely per physician orders.
• Observe residents for side effects or reactions and report changes promptly.
• Document medication administration in accordance with facility policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and storage areas.
• Follow all state regulations and facility protocols.
• Provide compassionate, respectful care to all residents.
