Qualifications

• Must possess a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certificate.
• CPR and First Aid certification required; can be obtained if uncertified upon hire.
• One year of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Engage with residents in activities and create memorable experiences.
• Participate in resident activities.
• Lead your shift with the leadership and direction of the RN, DON.
• Incorporate opportunities to create small, but memorable, experiences for residents.

We are a residential / assisted living community that will provide you with the opportunity to work in a family‑like environment and grow as you enrich the lives of our seniors. We are currently in need of part‑time Certified Medication Aides (CMAs). Full time could be a possibility. At Senior Suites of Urbandale, where your story matters. We are in need of evening (2 p‑10:30 p) and overnight (10 p‑6:30 a). A part‑time day CMA position is available as well.

Your day‑to‑day:

• Ensure residents receive medications/treatments as prescribed by their physician and follow the 6 rights of medication administration.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Effectively interact with residents with dementia.
• Participate in resident activities.
• Lead your shift with the leadership and direction of the RN, DON.
• Incorporate opportunities to create small, but memorable, experiences for residents.

Requirements:
