Certified Medication Aide
Location: The Ashford of Mt. Washington
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN
Pay Rate: $21/hour plus shift differential

What You’ll Do
- Administer medications as prescribed and under the direction of a licensed nurse.
- Promptly report to the nurse any resident’s request or need for PRN medications.
- Report any adverse or concerning reactions to medications.
- Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, management, and families.
- Apply knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
- Provide physical resident care, including personal hygiene and grooming.
- Answer call lights timely and respond to residents’ needs.
- Assist with maintaining acceptable nutrition and document meal intake as prescribed.
- Use proper technique for first‑aid procedures.
- Complete documentation of medication administration.
- Assist in maintaining a therapeutic environment.
- Motivate and encourage resident participation in activities.
- Assist residents to and from activities.
- Lift, turn, and re‑position residents as needed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Care or designee.
What We’re Looking For
- Current valid Medication Aide Certificate authorized by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- CPR certified.
- Nurse Aide certification.
- Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical, and a background check.
