Wallick is hiring for the position of Medication Aide at Meadow Valley Senior Living in Traverse City, Michigan. This role is essential in providing personal care and support to our residents, ensuring they live healthy, active lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR Certified; Nurse Aide Certification is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and peers.
• Previous experience in assisted living or memory care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and care to residents.
• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming of residents.
• Respond to call lights and resident needs in a timely manner.
• Encourage resident participation in activities.
• Assist residents with mobility within the community.

What You’ll Do

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Provide physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Answer call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to the resident’s needs.
• Motivate and encourage resident involvement in participation in activities.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lifting, turning, and re‑positioning residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Should be organized and self‑motivated
• CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to communicate with co‑workers, residents, family members and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
• Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus
