Job summary

Casa Maria Healthcare is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team in Roswell, NM. The CMA will work under the direct supervision of the charge nurse to ensure timely and accurate medication administration and uphold high standards of resident care.

Responsibilities include documenting PRN care per guidelines, reporting changes in patient condition, inventory documentation, and participating in trainings and meetings. Certification and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current Medication Aide certification required.

• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.

Job Type: Full-TIME

Shifts Avaialble; 2pm-10pm or 6am-2pm.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Certified Medication Aide is under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The charge nurse will follow up with the CMA to ensure the med pass is completed timely and accurately to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.

• Previous patient care experience preferred.

• Current certification for Medication Aide.

RESPONSIBLITIES

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.

• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.

• Reports medication reorder.
