Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) on a PRN basis to support nursing staff in a care facility in Texas. The role involves administering medications and assisting with patient care, with 8- or 12-hour shifts as needed.

The CMA must be licensed as a CNA, hold a Medication Administrative Certificate, and demonstrate reliable transportation and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed CNA in good standing with state requirements.
  • Must have a current Medication Administrative Certificate approved by the state.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • 1+ years of experience as a CNA.
  • Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer oral, nasal, eye, ear, and topical medications in accordance with facility policies and state law.
  • Provide additional, varied care services to patients as instructed and under supervision of nursing staff.

Posted Salary Range

USD $17.50 - USD $19.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities
