Job summary

The Waterford at Mansfield, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a licensed Medication Aide to administer resident medications and provide compassionate care on-site in Mansfield, Ohio.

You will support daily living activities, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comfort and safety for residents in our community.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Ohio as a Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration; may supervise CNAs.
• Provide patients' personal hygiene; assist with daily living activities and mobility; support with meals and hydration.
• Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and monitoring weight; record intake/output.

**Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in Ohio as a Medication Aide, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure.
