Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Eagle’s Trace in West Houston, TX, is hiring a Certified Medication Aide (CMA). CMAs support residents with daily living, administer medications, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure safe, person-centered care.

The role offers part-time shifts: mornings, evenings, and nights. Requirements include active CNA and CMA certifications, current CPR preferred, and at least one year of CNA and CMA experience. Compensation ranges from $17.05 to $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Active CNA certification for the state.
  • Current CMA certification as required.
  • Minimum of 1 year CNA experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year CMA experience preferred.
  • CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support residents in activities of daily living.
  • Administer medications to residents.
  • Follow personal care plans focusing on resident preferences and comfort.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to address resident needs promptly.

Job description

Location: Eagle's Trace by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Certified Medication Aide (CMAs). Our CMAs support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs.

Available shifts:
  • Part time / 16 hrs Morning 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Part time / 16 hrs Evening 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Part time / 24 hrs Nights 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Compensation:

Commensurate with experience, between $17.05 - $19.00 / hr

Required:
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certifications

How you will make an impact
  • Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
  • Assisting residents in activities of daily living
  • Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
  • Providing assistance with resident activities and programs
  • Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
  • Administration of medication to residents
What you will need
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working
  • Current certification for Medication Administration - per state requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1 years of Medication Administration experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification preferred.
