Job summary

Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking Certified Med Aides (CMAs) for our 61-bed rural Carlisle County facility. We offer full-time or PRN, day shifts, and an easy interview setup with our DON or administrator.

CMA duties include medication administration, supervising residents who self-administer, reporting changes in condition, and maintaining records. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, 1 year of related experience or training, and a flexible schedule including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must enjoy working with the senior population.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to health care provider's orders
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines
• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents and observations

Education

High school diploma or GED

One year of related experience or training
