Job summary

Olathe Health is seeking a Certified Medical Technologist to perform a variety of laboratory analyses (hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, serology, coagulation, and phlebotomy) on clinic specimens. Qualifications

• ASCP/AMT/NCA certification eligibility or equivalent.
• Education aligned to ASCP, NCA or AMT certification requirements.
• HEW/U.S. Military medical lab training with experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, serology, coagulation and phlebotomy tests.
• Maintains specimen integrity and follows approved test procedures.
• Performs instrument maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.
• Carries out quality control and documents results accurately.
• Provides accurate hand-off communication to the next shift and assists teammates.
• Participates in training of new staff and students.
