Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT, part of Trinity Health Of New England, seeks a Certified Medical Technologist to join our lab team. You will develop and maintain POC testing programs to shorten turnaround times and support patient care. Requires a Bachelor's in medical technology, ASCP/CLS/NCA, and 3–5 years’ experience. 32 hours, day shift, rotating weekends/holidays; strong communication and LIS skills needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to operate lab information systems and computer hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, coordinate and maintain POC testing programs to shorten turnaround times.
• Provide POC training for patient care staff and maintain competency records.
• Establish and monitor QC/QA programs and regulatory compliance.
