Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking a Certified Medical Technologist to join our mission-driven Laboratory team. This role supports POC testing, QA/QC programs, and ongoing education for patient care staff.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science, ASCP/CLS/NCA certification, and 3–5 years of clinical lab experience. Day shifts, 32 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays, are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science required.
• ASCP, CLS or NCA certification required.
• 3–5 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with administrators, colleagues and physicians.
• Evaluate requests for new POC testing and participate in cost analyses and vendor bidding.
• Establish QC/QA programs and ensure compliance with regulations while supporting care areas.
