You will work with physicians, dosimetrists, therapists, and leaders to lead QA, calibration, and radiation safety, while mentoring staff and driving ongoing improvements in technology and processes.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Health or Medical Physics is required and will be verified.
• Certification by ABR or ABMP in Radiation Oncology Physics or CCMFP is required.
• Licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Colorado sites require RMP/QI/QE credentials.

Aufgaben

• Oversees calibration and QA of radiation therapy equipment per AAPM standards and state/federal regs.
• Coordinate with department leadership to ensure physician treatment instructions are followed.
• Perform and supervise treatment planning, beam shaping and QA testing.
• Coordinate NRC/state licenses for brachytherapy sources with RSO and report variances.
• Lead implementation of new technologies and process improvements in radiation oncology.
• Support development of department Quality Improvement Plan and promote safety culture.
