Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks a Coder Certified to accurately code all medical cases, ensuring compliance with CPT/HCPCS and diagnosis codes. You will collaborate with the Coding Supervisor to prevent denials and improve reimbursement workflows.

The role requires at least 3 years of coding experience and CPC/CCS-P/CMRS or AAPC certification. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of medical coding experience.
• CPC, CCS-P, CMRS or AAPC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Code all cases to the highest level of accuracy to maximize reimbursement.
• Ensure adherence to coding guidelines for government and third-party payers.
• Collaborate with Coding Supervisor to resolve coding issues and prevent denials.
• Maintain knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, diagnoses, and modifiers; stay current with regulations.
