Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze patient records to assign accurate codes.
• Ensure records are properly signed off.
• Enter codes into management software and track claims.
• Bill insurance providers using ICD-9-CM, ICPM, DSM-IV, CPT-HCPCS.
• Manage patient data across visits.
• Communicate with patients about charges and payment options.
