Job summary

Network180 is seeking a Billing and Coding Specialist to provide expert coding and billing functions for accurate reimbursement of services. The role includes conducting Coordination of Benefit audits at external provider agencies.

This position is remote with some in-person meetings in Kent County, MI, working 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. A strong understanding of Medicaid/Medicare and confidentiality is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of medical billing experience, or an Associate degree with two years billing experience.
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, and database management.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and Third-party Insurance.
• Ability to work with and safeguard sensitive and protected provider information and other confidential information.
• Advanced and highly honed organizational skills.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
• Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
