Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist/Medical Assistant to perform radiographic exams under physician order, ensuring radiation safety and image quality.

The role requires ARRT certification or registry-eligibility, CPR and Kentucky licensure, with preferred prior healthcare experience. The position supports patient care, imaging, and clerical duties in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and registered by the ARRT or registry-eligible.
• CPR Certification and prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Must be certified by the state of Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Greet patient, confirm image to be taken, and explain X-Ray to patient.
• Take X-Ray exposures following protocol and prepare patient info files.
• Process films and inspect images for radiologist requirements.
• Maintain equipment and exam rooms, and restock supplies.
• Fulfills patient care and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
• Comply with HIPAA and safety requirements.
