Job summary

UofL Health in Kentucky is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and assist with medical imaging within a busy practice. You will operate radiographic equipment under physician orders and ensure radiation safety through proper protocols.

Requirements include ARRT registry-eligible or certified, CPR, and Kentucky licensure. GED or higher, with a medical assisting diploma and KBMIRT licensure; CMA/RMA and BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program and ARRT certification or registry-eligible.
• High school diploma or GED plus medical assistant diploma.
• KBMIRT licensure required; full licensure within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, confirm imaging to be taken, and explain X-ray procedure.
• Perform radiographic exposures following protocol and process images.
• Maintain equipment and exam rooms, manage supplies, and restock as needed.
• Assist patients with transfers, exams, and charting per provider guidelines; collect history.
• Uphold infection control standards and sterilization procedures.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements at all times.
• Other duties as assigned; comply with company policies.
