Job summary

Eagle Physicians & Associates is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join Eagle Wellness & Weight Management in Greensboro, NC. This full-time position requires CMA certification and 1–2 years of clinical experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include triage, history taking, phlebotomy, assisting providers, administering medications, patient education, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming patients to determine priority and severity of conditions.
• Obtain patient health histories and vital signs, documenting all information accurately in patient charts.
• Perform phlebotomy and in-house laboratory procedures and accurately record results.
• Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with office procedures, including laceration repairs.
• Administer prescribed injectable and oral medications as directed and monitor patients for reactions and effectiveness.
• Educate patients regarding illnesses, treatment plans, and medications by providing informational materials and answering questions.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and patient confidentiality.
