Job summary

One Medical seeks a Certified Medical Assistant at our Darien, CT office to deliver venipuncture and front‑desk support, creating an exceptional patient experience. You’ll be the first contact for patients and assist providers and the virtual medical team with clerical duties.

Ideal candidates hold an active MA certification (NHA/AAMA/NCCT/AMT) and have completed an accredited MA program, with strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Active Medical Assistant certification (NHA, AAMA, NCCT, or AMT)
• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR completed MA training via military branch
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience working with collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams (remote teams a plus)

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and front-desk support to create an exceptional patient experience
• Manage patient intake, scheduling, and follow-up as needed
• Assist providers and virtual medical team with clerical tasks and medical record review
• Maintain inventory, organize supplies, and ensure lab and office cleanliness
• Engage with patients professionally, using empathy and clear communication
• Contribute to team problem-solving and daily office operations
• Master One Medical technology suite (Slack, G‑suite, Zoom, EMR) to complete daily work
