Job summary

Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey Community Health Center (VNACJ CHC) in Red Bank, NJ seeks a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join the Primary Care team. The role includes evening and weekend rotation and travel between four CHC locations to ensure consistent patient care.

The position requires a Medical Assistant Certificate, NJ driver’s license, CPR, and strong communication skills. Prior EKG/phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved school.
• 6 months+ of supervised Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Experience in EKG and phlebotomy.
• CPR certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assists provider with patient workflow and maintaining clinical records.
• Executes order and performs related duties as ordered according to standard operating procedure.
• Maintains laboratory proficiency and required log books and records.

• Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies.
• Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance.
