Job summary

CHI Health Missouri Valley seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinicians and deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinic. You will greet patients, record vitals, review medication history, and document visit reasons, ensuring a smooth workflow from intake to provider examination.

Daily tasks include collecting specimens, administering medications or vaccines, stocking rooms, and maintaining safety and quality control checklists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ABHES or CAAHEP accredited Medical Assisting program.
• National certification such as CCMA, CMA, RMA, or NCMA; CMA-NHA, NCMA, NRCMA, RMA etc. accepted.
• BLS-CPR certification required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients, record vital signs, review medication history, and document visit reasons.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens; administer medications or vaccines per orders.
• Maintain stocked, clean exam rooms; perform safety checks and quality control; escalate patient concerns as needed.
• Navigate clinical documentation systems with accuracy and efficiency.
