Med House Calls is seeking a reliable Certified Medical Assistant/Scribe in Baton Rouge, LA. The role involves working directly with healthcare staff, assisting with patient visits, and maintaining Electronic Medical Records.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare practice or hospital.
• Home Health experience preferred but not required.
• Must exhibit a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with healthcare staff.
• Maintain records in Multiple EMR system.
• Travel to facilities homes within a 40-50 mile radius.
• Utilize company provided equipment to record HPI, vitals and list medications.
• Collect information from facilities to set up new patient background information for new visits.
• Various office duties as needed.
• Scan visit notes into facilities records.
