Job summary

HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater is seeking a Clinic Support Staff (CSS) for the Urology Department (40 hours per week). The role supports patient care duties, documentation, vaccinations and vital signs, with emphasis on timely service delivery under physician and RN direction.

Requirements include completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, LPN license (MN/WI), or EMT program with license, plus CPR certification. Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with or without certification (AAMA or AMT)
• Current LPN (MN and WI license required)
• Graduate of an accredited EMT program plus current EMT license (national and Minnesota)
• Plus CPR certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

• Rooming of patients, previsit planning, medication reconciliation
• Assisting with Procedures
• Take vital signs and document findings in the patient record
• Administering of vaccines
• Monitor messages and relay clinician responses via phone calls
• Follow Standing Order/Work Standard protocols per specialty

We are currently looking for a Clinic Support Staff (CSS) (40hrs/week) for our Urology Department. Position is eligible for full-time benefits including medical and dental insurance. Applicants do not need previous experience or training/certification as a medical assistant but do need to meet the minimum requirements for the position.

Job Description:

As a provider assistant at HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater, you are responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting that include documentation of medical information, administration of medications/vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories, vital signs, etc.
The provider assistant assists the healthcare providers in the timely delivery of services per physician/RN direction and according to Clinic policies and procedures.
All programs and activities are designed to support the short- and long-term mission, vision, goals, and objectives of HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater.
