Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Physician Practice – Salem Primary Care team. The CMA works closely with the primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care per state guidelines, updates health records, and prepares treatment rooms for examinations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active CMA certification from a recognized body.
• BLS/CPR certification required or preferred.
• 1 year of medical assistant experience (preferred).
• 2 years of clerical experience in a physician's office (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare and review patient charts; verify test results and records.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height).
• Perform clerical duties (inventory, referrals, phones).
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems; other duties as assigned.
