Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington State is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join our outpatient care team. You will room patients, take histories and vital signs, assist with exams, procedures, and charting, and help coordinate labs and referrals while delivering excellent patient care.

The role requires an approved MA program graduate, MA-C certification (or interim with 90 days to full certification), and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days) required.
• BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days).
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs.
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting.
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol.
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care.
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model.
