Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington is seeking a Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) to support providers in delivering high-quality primary care. You will perform patient intake, document quality measures, assist with exams and procedures, manage charting, and coordinate labs and referrals.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to protocol for medications and immunizations, and exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved MA program.
• Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days).
• BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days).
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs.
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting.
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol.
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care.
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model.
