Job summary

Carolina Family Care, Inc. (CFC) is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support a decentralized, patient-centered clinic environment.

Under RN supervision, you will assist physicians, record vitals, prepare treatment rooms, and help with procedures while ensuring accurate documentation. Ideal candidates will have an accredited medical assisting program completion, a high school diploma, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred (CMA I).
• CMA/RMA experience of 6 months preferred (CMA II).
• Certifications: AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT or MedCA as CMA/CCMA/CCMA variants.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment of patients under physician direction.
• Measure vital signs and input data into patient records.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and cleanliness.
• Triage, educate patients, and coordinate appointments/referrals.
• Monitor and distribute medications and manage samples where applicable.
• Support lab and clinical equipment maintenance per OSHA and UMA as required.
