Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Patient Certified Medical Assistant to work with Mercy Primary Care Providers, delivering patient-centered care and supporting quality outcomes in an outpatient setting. This role collaborates with patients and the clinical team under the direction of the primary care operations team.

Ideal candidates will have completed MA competencies, hold MA certification, and participate in MA Clinic Academy training, ensuring alignment with Mercy standards and service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• Must have completed all MA Competencies.
• Must actively maintain MA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way.
• Partner with patients, providers, and clinical care team to drive quality outcomes.
• Complete Advanced Standard Rooming with overall achievement >= 90% for the last 6 months.
