The CMA collaborates with the primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care, update records, measure vitals, and prepare exam rooms in compliance with state guidelines.

The role requires CMA certification (or ABR-OE in select cases), high school diploma, and 1+ year in a medical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active CMA/RMA/CCMA or ABR-OE acceptable (in certain states).
• 1+ year medical office/clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and the community with respectful service.
• Review and update health records; prepare treatment rooms for exams.
• Measure vital signs and document results accurately.
• Review patient charts and diagnostic results for accuracy.
• Handle routine clerical duties: inventories, referrals, phone coverage.
• Support care team and troubleshoot problems as needed.
