Job summary

Inspire Integrative Medicine, LLC is seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with medical office experience and willing to take on additional responsibilities as the organization grows.

Responsibilities include assisting clinicians, performing basic clinical tasks, handling patient intake, and maintaining EMR documentation. Prior experience with athenaClinicals EMR is preferred but not required; CPR is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Valid CCMA certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of two years prior medical office experience.
• Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
• Experience with athenaClinicals EMR preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Interview and record patient medical history in the EMR.
• Measure and record vital signs and perform point-of-care tests.
• Draw blood, administer immunizations and injections, and remove sutures as directed.
• Assist providers during examinations by handing over instruments and materials.
• Greet and register patients; schedule appointments and triage calls.
• Review messages in the EMR and route to appropriate staff.
