Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Medical Assistant certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Previous related work experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with treatments ordered by provider under supervision.
• Interview patients, measure vitals, and record chart information; prepare exam rooms.
• Perform basic clerical duties: answer phones, maintain records, file.
• Handle materials management: order and stock supplies; keep work area clean.
• Document provider encounters and transcribe orders for labs, radiology and medications.
