Job summary

TeamCare Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform routine clinical duties at the Pace Center and Diagnostic Treatment Center. You will conduct venipuncture, EKGs, and vital signs, while ensuring patient privacy and safety.

This role requires strong customer service and the ability to translate and support clinical staff. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of venipuncture experience, bilingual capabilities, and a Medical Assistant Certification with phlebotomy and EKG skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical technician training and vision screening training required.
• At least 1 year of venipuncture experience; elderly population preferred.
• Must be bilingual and certified as Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy and EKG skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine medical assistant functions according to policy and privacy standards.
• Draws blood and collects specimens following infection control and physician orders.
• Performs EKGs and basic accuracy checks on vital signs and measurements.
• Transports participants and assists with ADL and coordination of follow-up visits.
• Provides coverage at front desk as needed and maintains supplies.
