Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under the Nurse Manager. You will perform vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, audiogram, and vision tests, collect specimens, and document in EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Medical Assistant certification.
• Phlebotomy certification required or documented training.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and communicate with care team with compassion.
• Record vital signs, medications, and allergies in EMR (EPIC).
• Collect specimens and perform CLIA‑waived tests as directed.
• Assist provider during exams and procedures.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies for efficient patient flow.
• Willing to float to other clinic locations as needed.
