Duly Health and Care is seeking a Medical Assistant based in Naperville, IL, to provide exceptional patient care and support to our physicians. This full-time role requires strong customer service skills, and certification as a medical assistant is highly preferred. Responsibilities include greeting patients, assisting with examinations, conducting lab tests, and ensuring an inviting environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a medical assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required.
  • Active medical assistant certification required through recognized organizations.
  • CPR certification required or willingness to become certified upon hire.
  • Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT, or two years in a medical office.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, and health history.
  • Support physicians during examinations and minor office surgeries.
  • Assist with immunizations or injections if certified.
  • Conduct onsite lab testing, including EKG and blood glucose tests.
  • Maintain clean and inviting examination rooms.

Medical Assistant - Naperville - Pediatrics

Position Highlights:

  • Full Time: 40 Hours/Week
  • Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am–6:00 pm; Friday 8:00 am–4:00 pm; two Saturdays/month
  • Location: Naperville; occasional travel to other locations as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history
  • Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first‑aid procedures
  • Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections
  • Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing
  • Conduct onsite lab testing, including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests
  • Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms for patient visits
  • Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values
  • Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completion of a medical assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required
  • For internal medicine, pediatrics, and family practice, active medical assistant certification required through one of the following:
    • American Medical Technologists (AMT)
    • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
    • National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
    • American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
    • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
  • CPR certification required or willingness to become certified upon hire
  • May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
  • Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT, or two years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43–23.63 for a Medical Assistant; a certified or registered medical assistant receives a base pay range of $22.97–24.57. Pay is determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
