Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Certified Medical Assistant at St. Rita's Medical Center to support primary care physicians in delivering high-quality patient care. You will review health records, measure vital signs, and prepare rooms for examinations according to state guidelines.

The role requires MA certification (CMA/RMA/CCMA or ABR-OE alternative) and a high school diploma. Experience in medical offices is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of medical assistant healthcare experience preferred
• Two years of clerical experience in a physician’s office preferred
• High school diploma or GED required/acceptable

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service
• Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits
• Measure vital signs and prepare treatment rooms
• Perform clerical duties (inventory, referrals, phones)
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly
• Other duties as assigned
