Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Richardson, TX is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative for a full-time role. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
• National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• At least 2 years of professional medical assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the patient representative and assists clinicians with care.
• Take patient history, vitals, and document in the chart per policy.
• Assist in nursing tasks and injections as directed by physicians.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Coordinate with departments to improve patient experience and flow.
