Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 2+ years of professional medical assisting in a practice setting preferred.
• National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Valid CPR certification required.
• Must have full range of motion and capable of standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient confidentiality and discretion with information.
• Assists physicians and medical staff in patient care under supervision.
• Screen calls during triage and support nursing duties as needed.
• Take patient history and vitals; document accurately in charts.
• Prepare and administer injections with proper documentation.
• Manage supplies, vaccines, and pharmacy-related tasks as directed.
