Job summary

Astria Health in Union Gap, WA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time day shift (7:00am–7:00pm, Monday to Friday). You will assist physicians, manage patient records, prep examination rooms, collect specimens, and support the care team to deliver efficient, compassionate outpatient care.

The ideal candidate holds WA MA Certified license, BLS, and English fluency, with strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to explain procedures and meds to patients.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Medical Assistant – Certified license.
• Current Washington State Medical Assistant – Registered with a Current Washington State Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification.
• Basic Cardiac Life support certification.
• Oral and written fluency in the English language

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient medical records and update immunization history.
• Prepare for patient visits, review files and tests, and provide updates to Provider team.
• Collaborate with Providers to ensure schedule efficiency and continuity of care.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms with necessary supplies and sterilization.
• Assist physician during examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed and follow up on test results in EMR.
