Mercy is seeking a Medical Assistant in Arkansas to assist physicians and staff with clerical duties, patient prep, scheduling, lab work, X-ray and records. You will perform patient care tasks within nursing standards and uphold Mercy's caring, compassionate ethos.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR within 3 months of hire, and MA certification. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for success in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire date.
• Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMT, AMCA or NCCT) required.
• Strong computer proficiency and reliable communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and office staff with clerical processing, patient preparation and scheduling.
• Support lab, x-ray and medical records activities per standards.
• Care for patients and maintain accurate records and test results.
• Communicate clearly with patients, staff and the public; operate phone/ fax/ computer.
