Job summary

Mercy Primary Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support the primary care team in Fort Smith, AR. The role involves working closely with providers to ensure safe, timely, and patient-centered care within Mercy Service Standards.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, charting, medication reconciliation, and closing care gaps, with emphasis on effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• Must have completed all MA Competencies.
• Caregivers can be hired as a Certified Medical Assistant if CMA.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide patient-centered care.
• Partner with patients, providers, and care team to drive quality outcomes.
• Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards and mission.
