Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program required.
• Current Medical Assistant certification (AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA or NCC NCMA) preferred.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and schedules clinical visits with patients and staff.
• Inputs clinical orders into the EMR scheduling system and prioritizes queues.
• Interviews patients and documents information into EMR.
• Coordinates follow-up appointments with patients.
• Communicates with patients about care, results, and appointments with cultural competency.
