Job summary

The Medical Assistant will support Doctors and Nurses by updating patient histories, scheduling appointments, and performing routine care tasks. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CMA certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills.
• Ability to read/communicate in English; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and nurses in patient care and medical record maintenance.
• Schedule patient appointments and update histories.
• Record vital signs and perform CLIA waived testing as needed.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Communicate with staff and coordinate care across departments.
• Follow department protocols and assist with data entry.
