Iberia Comprehensive Community Health Center | New Iberia, LA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a full-time role. The CMA will perform clinical duties, venipunctures, urinalysis, and assist in labs, while managing referrals and patient communications, under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a Louisiana MA license, completed a state-approved MA program, and brings at least six months of medical office experience with solid EMR skills.

Formación

• High School diploma required.
• Graduate of state-approved Medical Assistant program.
• Current Medical Assistant license in Louisiana.
• Six months of prior medical office experience.
• Basic knowledge of nursing processes, biology and chemistry.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.

Responsabilidades

• The CMA renders safe nursing care, performs venipunctures, urinalysis, CBgs, and lab support; administers meds per MD orders; handles referrals and callbacks.
