Job summary

Carle Health in Danville, IL is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant / Registered Medical Assistant to perform routine administrative and patient care support duties. You will assist medical staff in examinations and treatments, help with office flow, and contribute to high-quality patient care in a busy clinical setting.

The role includes a $500 sign-on bonus for external candidates and requires CMA/RMA certification plus BLS; rooming patients, handling calls, scheduling, and EMR documentation

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• CMA and/or RMA certification preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and collect medical history data.
• Handle telephone communications and scheduling tasks.
• Perform rooming, vital signs and basic care procedures as directed.
• Administer medications and assist with lab orders as instructed per provider.
• Document in EMR and coordinate referrals and testing.
