Summit Health Management is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care at our Houston clinic. You will welcome patients, prepare them for visits, and facilitate clear communication about services they will receive.

This role involves point-of-care tests, vital signs, specimen collection, phlebotomy, and assisting providers. Requires Certified Medical Assistant, phlebotomy experience, BLS, and at least 1 year in primary care, family practice, urgent care, or ER.

Qualificações

• Certified Medical Assistant required.
• 1 year of experience in primary care, family practice, urgent care or ER preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
• High School Diploma/Equivalency required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs point-of-care laboratory tests and phlebotomy as directed.
• Collects and documents vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Prepare patients, room, and supplies for visits or examinations.
• Provides patient instruction regarding medications and care.
• Maintains cleanliness and readiness of treatment rooms and equipment.
