The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus Hospital in El Paso is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to provide direct nursing care in a medical office setting under the direction of a physician, assist providers, and maintain a clean, safe environment in accordance with the practice's policies.

The role requires completion of an accredited medical assisting program, Medical Assistant certification, and AHA BLS; 1 year of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• 1 year of related experience (preferred).
• Medical Assistant certification.
• AHA BLS.

Responsabilités

• Assists in the assessment of patient needs and health plan.
• Completes all necessary documentation in the patient’s medical record in accordance with practice’s charting policy.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians with medical treatments, exams, and medical procedures.
• Arranges for specialized consultations and appointments for testing as ordered by the physicians.
