Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Certified Medical Assistant for Willard Hospital. You will work closely with the primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care, update health records, and prepare examination rooms for visits.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, reviewing charts, taking vital signs, and handling clerical tasks while adhering to state guidelines and MA scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Active CMA/MA certification or ABR-OE acceptable where allowed.
• BLS Basic Life Support required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and community in a respectful manner.
• Review and update patient charts for upcoming visits and verify records.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height).
• Perform clerical duties: inventory checks, referrals, phone duties.
