RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join the Barnabas Health Medical Group in Jersey City. The CMA will support providers, conduct routine tests, take histories and vital signs, and assist with both clinical and administrative duties in a busy outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates hold CMA credentials and a current BLS certification, with at least 6 months CMA experience. Experience with Epic EMR and billing knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current CMA credential and active BLS certification.
• At least 6 months CMA experience; Epic EMR experience preferred.
• English fluency required; bilingual Spanish desirable.
• Knowledge of billing and coding is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Schedule tests in or out of office.
• Take patient histories and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment.
• Assist with front and back office duties.
• Greet patients and collect demographics and payments.
