Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform patient intake, venipuncture, EKGs, and related tasks. You will document in the EMR system per licensure and VMG policies while maintaining courteous, patient-centered care.

The role supports front desk activities including registration, billing and insurance processing, with emphasis on safe visit protocols and teamwork with practice staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an MA program recognized by the State of New Jersey.
• Current and valid certification as a medical assistant or Registered Medical Assistant (AMT, AAMA, NCCT) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, blood draw, EKG and tests as required by the provider.
• Document accurately in EMR per licensure and Valley Medical Group policies.
• Support front desk tasks: patient registration, billing, insurance, and safe visit protocols.
